NYQUISTA / ACOUSTIC DESIGN
Giving sound
a physical form.
Acoustic products shaped by a love of music, materials and making.
As lead designer at Nyquista in Warsaw, I took products from concept and prototype through production, adapting them for our clients’ interiors.

01 / WALL SYSTEMS
A surface.
A rhythm.
A different room.
Sculptural wall elements turn repetition into a design language. Straight lines, curves and layered profiles give each system its own character.

Wall systems / Profile and configuration studies
THE WORK
From product
to place.
01 / Design
Form & material
Develop product concepts and explore how they belong in an interior.
02 / Prototype
Make & refine
Use prototypes to work through construction, detail and production methods.
03 / Deliver
Adapt & produce
Translate designs into custom versions and guide manufacturing through to the finished product implemented in large office interiors.
02 / CEILING SYSTEMS
Designing the
space overhead.
Suspended systems explored grids, waves and layered forms. Different configurations gave the same product language a new scale and presence.

03 / LIGHTING
Light, held
within the form.
Acoustic elements and lighting share the ceiling. These studies bring them together in suspended objects with a clear, consistent geometry.

04 / WALL PANELS
Small details.
A larger pattern.
A closer look at surface and repetition: individual panels become compositions, changing character as they extend across a wall.

05 / SOUND DIFFUSERS
An irregular surface.
A precise composition.
From the geometry of a single module to a complete installation, these studies show the relationship between surface detail, repetition and the room around it.

06 / ORGATEC, COLOGNE
Products with
a public presence.
The archive also includes work for Nyquista’s Orgatec booth: a place to bring the products, materials and character of the brand into one physical setting.

LOOKING BACK
Designed to be made.
This chapter of my practice connected form with the realities of making: materials, prototypes, manufacturing and the details that let a product become part of a larger interior.
